JoY - Block 12

Finally... block 12 is completed and on the wall!

I've somewhat jumped around as I missed a few blocks in the fall, but am on a roll now.  Really enjoyed the larger pieces of this block- it gave me a chance to fussy cut a larger scale print and get a little touch of blue into the quilt top.

Now backtracking.. block 11 is on deck for this month!

Thanks to everyone who's participating on this blog.  I enjoy all of your posts and appreciate the opportunity to learn from so many talented quilters!

And a close up with a little more detail:  I really struggled with my background choice (posted here), but after seeing this first block finished, I'm happy with the outcome.
