Quilter 501 - Block 1 - French General - Broderie Perse

It was suggested that I show what the buds looked like in Broderie Perse.  This is something I am just learning and hoping to improve.

    This little bud looks really good. I have Also wanted to try Broderie Perse. I went to one of the online quilt shops and looked at French General fabric, I really did not know what it was. It is a beautiful line of fabric, lots of lovely florals so probably perfect for Broderie Perse.

    Those are very sweet buds - love the way you have made this block your own! Just starting to try broderie perse myself - on a Di Ford quilt - Drayton Hall.
